1: sit up.
Rest your hands on your lap. Check your posture. Feel how your hip bones connect to the seat, allowing a solid foundation for you to sit up a little taller. Shrug your shoulders up to your ears, and then roll them back and down. Feel how this lets your chest and heart open. Tuck the chin just sligihtly, so your head isn’t lolling about. Imagine someone is pulling a single hair right at the top of your crown, and move with it to sit up one centimeter taller.
Take a deep breath, and feel the fresh air travel past your collar bones, past your chest, below your lungs, all the way down to your belly. Exhale soft and slow.
Keep breathing deep and slow for 1 minute.
